Life in “Iso” and the newly reset world

If there is one thing that we know about isolation, it is that, coming out, we won’t be the same as we were coming in. When COVID19 hit, it did so like a freight train – and in many places around the world – that freight train continues to run unhindered.

And because the freight train hit so hard and so fast, we have narrowed our strategic vision. Where once we would look over the horizon – three to five years – we are now lucky to see 3-5 weeks out. Only weeks ago, we were struggling to see 3-5 days ahead. As conditions now return to some level of normality, we can reimagine our short and medium term futures.

So what does life in and after isolation look like? Belinda Beeftink, Research Director, IPA and Ben Page, CEO, IPSOS hosted this webinar which gives us a glimpse of what may be. Some of the trends identified will resonate, but others may surprise.

  • A retreat into nostalgia
  • The search for simplicity and meaning
  • Fear of the future
  • Green reset.

Be sure to watch all the way through. It might help you or your clients as we all emerge into a newly reset world.
