Some blogs are known for their insight. Some for their coverage of issues. Some for their colourful personalities. And some for their funky design and willingness to share. Sometimes the personality of the author is there in your face while for others, it is important to stay tucked away behind the words on the screen.
But no matter where your blog sits in this spectrum, the words that you write truly do say something about you. After all, blogs and your personal brand are intimately linked.
This fun little cuss-o-meter gives you a quick reading of your cussability score (with thanks to Meg Tsiamis). Meg ranked a healthy 2% while I managed a meagre 0.8%.
I am hoping that some of my friends make up for my poor efforts. After all, some have more reasons to cuss than others!
All that work to bring all those bookworms and socialites together and I get the “issues” link.
I cannot win 😉 Miss ya.
Heh CK – I should be happy I got my name then 😉
I was actually surprised at my 2%, but I have since improved to 1.8% – go figure. Well done at keeping it clean.
CK & Meg … it would have been boring to say “all these bloggers rock” 😉 But you both do.
I’m “some”! Woo-hoo!
I can get pretty damned potty mouthed from time to time. I have a few built up at the moment… but I’ll save them for over a pint some time instead- deal?
Tim … now that is a great deal! Will let you know when I am next over your way 😉
I found the Cuss-O-Meter over at Meg’s website and managed to score 22% on my blog. Looks like my blog has a potty mouth. What I’d like to know is what is considered ‘cussing’?
wow: 1,1%.
pretty good for a non english mother tongue guy.
what’s you advice: should I aim to 1,5% or 0,8%?
